Within two days, there were 3,000 orders for the Jimny, and its waiting time had already hit the 3-month mark.
The company has said that it has received 5,000 bookings for the Jimny, and nearly 1,500 bookings for the Fronx.
It is being offered with a 5-speed manual transmission and a 4-speed automatic transmission.
The new Jimny comes with the “ALLGRIP” technology which is what Maruti calls its 4-wheel drive system.
Maruti Suzuki has kept the booking amount for the new Jimny 5-Door at Rs 11,000.
